The period 2023-2030 will mark the largest investment in history in the field of renewable energy:
▪ 12,000 million euros through The Modernization Fund;
▪ 1,400 million euros through The National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) - REPOWER EU;
▪ 1,000 million euros through The Operational Program of Large Infrastructure (POIM);
▪ 800 million euros through The Regional Program (PR);
▪ 200 million euros through The Just Transition Program;
▪ 300 million euros through The Sustainable Development Program;
▪ 16,100 billion euros in renewable energy production and energy efficiency.
GRANT’s VALUE:
max. 20.000.000 euro / enterprise / single investment project*
* “Single investment project” means any initial investment related to the same activity or a similar activity started by the beneficiary of the aid at group level within a period of three years from the date of initiation of works on another investment benefiting from aid in the same NUTS 3 region (=same county ).
MAX. GRANT AMOUNT:
▪ 650.000 Euro/MW for wind energy
▪ 425.000 Euro/MW for solar energy
▪ 1.805.000 Euro/MW for hydro energy
▪ 1.690.000 Euro/MW for geothermal energy
▪ 1.692.000 Euro/MW for energy from biomass and biogas
GRANT’s INTENSITY:
max. 100% from the eligible costs, but in order to have an advantage in the evaluation, an own contribution is recommended
Enterprises (micro-enterprises, small enterprises, medium-sized enterprises and large enterprises, including newly established enterprises), as well as the independent companies, whose activity, among others, is the production of electricity is corresponding to division 35: "Production and supply of electricity and thermal energy, gas, hot water and air conditioning", NACE code 3511 Electricity production, for: Realization of new electricity production capacities from renewable energy sources: wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, biomass or biogas.
Attention!!!
Projects that are proposed to replace older energy production capacities from solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, biomass or biogas sources are NOT eligible.
It will be taken into account that the state aid is neither granted nor reimbursed after the installation has started its activity, and the aid is independent of the result. In this sense, it will be considered that the project activities must not start before the date of submission by the applicant of the offer for financing to the Ministry of Energy.
▷ The purchase of installations / equipment for the construction of new electricity production capacities from renewable sources of wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, biomass or biogas energy;
▷ Constructions that are the object of the project to produce electricity from renewable wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, biomass or biogas energy sources.
!!! Investment aid is granted only to new installations, without financing energy storage capacities. !!!
!The applicant must demonstrate the unitary character of the project.! The unitary project cannot be divided into subprojects!
The project that cumulatively meets the following conditions is considered unitary:
▷ It has a single, clearly defined overall objective;
▷ Its component equipment and facilities are interdependent from a technical and functional point of view and work together to achieve the project objective;
▷ The unitary operation of the components is economically justified.
